My research over the last thirty years have shown that the Chinese intended, through the naming of the acupuncture points, to indicate how our physical bodies embody the power of Heaven and light, in Chinese terms. I will present textual references to back this up, from Confucian and Taoists scriptures, and talk more generally about what this implies . Not the least, in contacting and realising our inborn nature, through Qigong and quiet meditation.
