Skin- a "window" into understanding reproductive disorders

Please join Acubalance Practitioner Dr Trevor Erikson, a fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Oriental Medicine (FABORM), as he shares some insights, clinical examples, and modern research on the links between skin pathologies and reproductive disorders. He will discuss both Western medical thought, including that of inflammatory and hormonal influences, and Chinese medical thinking in terms of "One disease, many patterns. One pattern, many diseases." Acne, psoriasis, eczema, herpes, and rosacea and their relationship to infertility, anovulation, and recurrent pregnancy loss will all discussed.

Dr. Trevor Erikson begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, Dr.TCM, FABORM, Dip. of Chinese Medical Dermatology has been focusing on all things related to both reproductive health and dermatology since he started his post graduate pursuits in 2005. Although ones skin and reproductive organs may appear to be separate systems, through Trevor's deep studies and clinical experience in Chinese Medicine he has found unique ways to use the skin as a diagnostic tool to better understand the inner workings of his clients.
