The Secondary Vessels: Acupuncture's Red-headed Step-child

This course is a brief introduction to the Secondary Vessels. We will discuss the purpose and value of these much under-used systems. Often misunderstood, these vessels can increase your clinical efficacy by targeting the patient's imbalance in a much more specific way than the primary vessels. We will introduce the tendino-muscular meridians, luo-collaterals, divergents and the 8 extras and take a look at the types of disorders they correct.

Bio: Yvonne has been practicing and teaching Chinese Medicine for 15 years. Because her practice is primarily psycho-emotional and psycho-somatic disorders she was attracted to the Secondary Vessels very early in her studies of TCM. Her studies began with David Chan OMD, Jeffrey Yuen and recently she has been exploring Giovanni Maciocia's approach to these powerful vessels. After 15+ years of clinical use, Yvonne has her own unique approach to clinical treatment using these vessels.
